Inside our house we only get about 50 FEET (going into the back yard). 1000 feet is a very big exaggeration. I would love for Vtech to tell me how that is possible under normal conditions.

We recommend you place the baby monitor away from WiFi streaming devices such as cellphones, tablets, routers and microwave oven for optimum range and better reception. Thank you! ~VTech Support
