• Steve - Here's how you can switch to local mode using the parent unit of the VTech RM5764HD. On the Parent Unit press MENU/SELECT • Press ◄ or ► to highlight the General Settings tab (furthest to the right), then press MENU/SELECT • Press ▲ or ▼ to highlight the “Parent Unit Wi-Fi Connection” option, then press ◄, ►, or MENU/SELECT to toggle the connection • Choose your ‘YES’ on the resulting confirmation screen to toggle between Remote mode and Local mode Hope this helps! -VTech Support
