• Hi - The VTech CS5129-26 has a call screening feature that will enable you to hear the incoming messages while they are being recorded. Here's how you can turn off the said feature. 1. Press MENU/SELECT on the cordless handset. 2. Press CID down button to choose Answering sys and then press MENU/SELECT. 3. Press CID down button to choose Ans sys setup and then press MENU/SELECT. 4. Press MENU/SELECT to select Call screening. 5. Press CID down button to choose Off, and then press MENU/SELECT to save. Hope this helps!
