Hi - The operating range of the VTech CS5129-26 varies and is dependent on the environmental conditions, the time of use and other interference such as walls, doors, and other obstructions. We recommend you place the telephone base in an open location for optimum range and better reception. The unit does not have Bluetooth capability. You may check the model IS8151-5 which has the Connect to cell feature you are looking for. Thank you! - VTech Support
