“My new phone will not work. It say out of range or not on hook. Have not been ale to use it yet. Why should I need the DSL Filter. Will this make the phone work.”

• Unplug battery, wait 5 minutes, plug back in, wait another 5 minutes (with phone in cradle) that should cause it to resync.

Normally, the telephone will only show "Out of Range" if the base has no power or if the handsets is not getting reception from the base unit.
