Hi - We are sorry to hear that you are having issues with the VTech CS5129-26. The battery may not charge if the charger is not plugged in securely to a known working electrical outlet. Make sure that the charger is connected to a working outlet not controlled by a wall switch. If you are still having issues with the unit, you can contact our Customer Support at 1-800-595-9511.
