Yes it does have a pretty loud ringer, and is actually very good Its a great device the only issue is and most likely not relevant to you is that it can only work on 110 V meaning if you want to use it outside of USA which I am doing then you need to change either the power adapters or buy a 110 to 220 Volt converter
