• Hi - The VTech DS6251-2 does not have a light that will flash when there are new Voicemail messages. The same goes to other VTech phones. Instead, the screen will display "New Voicemail" when there are new Voicemail messages recorded through your telephone service provider. Thank you, -VTech Support
