“Will this camera send a notification when motion is detected? Or does it simply start recording?”

• There is an option to turn on motion notification and the sensitivity that it picks up. It is very sensitive though and will notify of the slightest movements so i turned off it is a bit of an annoyance.

• Hi - The VTech RM5754HD is not capable of recording a video when used via local model. The parent unit will notify you when there is an activity on the baby unit. You can only record a video clip when using the My Baby Pro app installed in your cellular phone. Thank you, -VTech Support
