Diana and Anonymous, Hi, I happen to see both of your comments while I was looking for help for my own VTECH baby monitor that was doing and saying the same as both of yours. My daughter in law and I hit menu to unpair the camera from the monitor. Then on the bottom of the camera is a tiny opening the size of a pin, maybe alittle bigger that you will need to use to repair the monitor back to the camera. So after you unpair the two, hit select and pair and then pick whatever room you want to pair it with, and then the monitor tells you to push into the pairing tiny hole on the bottom of the camera for 5 seconds, or until the green light starts blinking on the camera. This worked for us, and I hope it helps you both out too!!!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Diana - We are sorry to hear that you are having issues with the VTech VM5271. Try to reset the unit by disconnected the power to both parent and baby unit (remove battery on the parent unit, if there is any). Wait for one minute before reconnecting the AC power back in then test the unit again. If this does not help, please contact our Consumer Sales and Service Center between the hours of 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM Monday through Friday at 1-800-595-9511. Thank you, -VTech Support
