- Answer Unfortunately vtech misleads you with this model. You cannot add an extra camera. I was pretty mad when I found that out. You have to buy the model that comes with two cameras.

QuestionHi, my monitor vtech VM5271 said "PU or BU SECID is not exist" and the link light turn on and off. Why this is happening and what can i do to fix it ? Thank you

- Answer Diana and Anonymous, Hi, I happen to see both of your comments while I was looking for help for my own VTECH baby monitor that was doing and saying the same as both of yours. My daughter in law and I hit menu to unpair the camera from the monitor. Then on the bottom of the camera is a tiny opening the size of a pin, maybe alittle bigger that you will need to use to repair the monitor back to the camera. So after you unpair the two, hit select and pair and then pick whatever room you want to pair it with, and then the monitor tells you to push into the pairing tiny hole on the bottom of the camera for 5 seconds, or until the green light starts blinking on the camera. This worked for us, and I hope it helps you both out too!!!

- Answer Hi - The VTech VM5251 is not capable of pairing with a cellular phone. Monitoring can only be done using the parent unit. Thank you, -VTech Support

QuestionWhy does the sound go off on the parent unit? I have to manually push the volume button to have sound. I want to continually hear the room the baby is is.

- Answer Think I fixed it! Try changing your "VOX" sensitivity to "Highest". That will leave the sound on all the time. Any of the other settings you will only hear when the baby makes sounds at the volume sensitivity selected. Good luck!

- Answer 1) there is one charger included, for the monitor. The camera is not wireless so no charger is necessary. 2) monitor is charged by itself and on full charge you probably can get 5-6hrs from the monitor.
