Product Manuals
A: Unfortunately vtech misleads you with this model. You cannot add an extra camera. I was pretty mad when I found that out. You have to buy the model that comes with two cameras.
A: Diana and Anonymous, Hi, I happen to see both of your comments while I was looking for help for my own VTECH baby monitor that was doing and saying the same as both of yours. My daughter in law and I hit menu to unpair the camera from the monitor. Then on the bottom of the camera is a tiny opening the size of a pin, maybe alittle bigger that you will need to use to repair the monitor back to the camera. So after you unpair the two, hit select and pair and then pick whatever room you want to pair it with, and then the monitor tells you to push into the pairing tiny hole on the bottom of the camera for 5 seconds, or until the green light starts blinking on the camera. This worked for us, and I hope it helps you both out too!!!
Q: Can I get an app to connect to the video monitor from my phone
A: Hi - The VTech VM5251 is not capable of pairing with a cellular phone. Monitoring can only be done using the parent unit. Thank you, -VTech Support

A: No it does not have an app. This model does not have wifi
Q: Could I use this to keep an eye on my dog when I’m away?
A: Probably not. Only if he is in a crate. The camera does not move but set on a select angle.
Q: Does this camera tilt up/down or side to side?
