QuestionHi I’m trying to turn on my parent Unit monitor and there is a error PU or BU is not exist. What does it mean?

- Answer Anna - We are sorry to hear that you are having troubles with the VTech VM5251. The error message "PU or BU is not exist" can be resolved by rebooting the baby monitor. You need to disconnect the power to the baby and parent unit. Remove the battery from the parent unit then wait for 1 minute before re-installing the battery and AC adapters. If this does not help, please contact our Consumer Sales and Service Center between the hours of 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM Monday through Friday at 1-800-595-9511. Thank you, -VTech Support

If the display won't turn on, try resetting the unit by unplugging the AC adapter and batteries on the parent unit. After 1 minute, reinstall the batteries on the parent unit and plug the AC adapter. QuestionI just purchased this monitor with a second baby on the, but the version with two cameras for viewing multiple rooms. How does the cameras switch between rooms for viewing two babies at the same time? Is there a split screen option or a rotating option?

- Answer Terri - The model VTech VM5251-2 (2 baby units) has a split screen mode and patrol mode feature. When the monitoring mode is set to patrol mode, the camera will transit to a different baby unit every 10 seconds. When it is set to split screen mode, The screen displays all baby units. - Answer Jaci - The VTech VM5251 is a non-expandable unit, thus it cannot add another camera. Expandable and non-expandable baby monitors are configured the same way, hence you can see 4 panels on the screen during split view. Thank you, -VTech Support
