QuestionIn the back of the camera there is a little compartment what goes there n if the camera doesn't come on what is wrong .

- Answer Brian - The VTech VM5251 is not WiFi capable, thus you won't be able to use a smartphone to monitor your child. You may check the model VTech RM5752, which is a WiFi baby monitor. Thank you, -VTech Support

QuestionI need to use the split mode (2 kids) but unless the sound alert (Beeping soond)is on, I can only hear the sounds on the highlighted cam. I don’t want the sound alert but as soon it is off, I am limited to hearing only 1 cam even though I am in split mode

QuestionWhat are those coloured bars next to the temperature on my vetch vm5251? It keeps my screen on for half hours long sometimes.. and it started Doing so recently.. but we did move the camera, it's back is facing the window..

- Answer Adam - The colored bars are the signal strength of the sound being detected on the camera. When the baby unit detects no sound, the parent unit screen stays off to save power. Once a sound is detected, the parent unit screen turns on automatically. It will then turn off again after 50 seconds of no sound detection. Thank you, -VTech Support

QuestionHi, We bought this baby monitor a few months ago, which came with two cameras. One of the cameras has stopped working all of a sudden. The parent unit says cannot link to camera however the camera does have a light which remains solid green.
