  • QuestionWhy can we only connect one phone to the camera? If I connect to the camera my wife gets kicked off and vice versa.

    • Answer Hi - We are sorry to hear about your trouble with the VTech RM5752. If you are using multiple accounts to log in to MyVTech Baby 1080p, this is a normal scenario. We suggest for you to only use one account to log in to your and your wife's mobile app for you to be able to view the image from the VTech RM5752 on 2 different devices at the same time.   • QuestionMy camera is not working properly in the night vision mode. Which vtech camera is compatible with this parent unit? And where can I Find?

    • Answer Gomes - We are sorry to hear that you are having issues with your VTech RM5752. Sometimes the light sensor can get "stuck" thinking the room is dark when it is not, causing Night Vision to turn on. Try to shine a flashlight, smartphone flashlight or other bright light at the front of the camera to try to reset the light sensor. You may also reset the unit by disconnecting the power adapter on the baby unit and wait approximately 15 seconds. Reconnect and try again. If this does not help, you can contact our Customer Support at 1-800-595-9511. We are open from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Mondays through Fridays. Thank you, -VTech Support

  • QuestionHi, my camera will randomly disconnecting from my account. This usually happens when my husband or I are at work and can not connect back to the camera because we are not on the same wifi as the camera. this is very frustrating. what can i do to help fix?

    • Answer Hi - We are sorry to hear that your VTech RM5752 is not working as expected. Make sure that your Android™ or iOS device is not using a 5 GHz network. Your camera operates on 2.4 GHz only. Connect your Android or iOS device to the 2.4 GHz version of the network that you are using. Like many electronic devices, a reset may resolve the issue. To reset the baby monitor: Step 1. Unplug the AC power for 1 minute. Step 2. Turn off the parent unit by pressing the POWER button. Step 3. Press the pinhole at the back of the parent unit, take a pin and push button. Step 4. Press the POWER button on the parent unit and wait until they link back up. Reconnect and test. If this does not help, please contact VTech Customer support for further assistance at 1-800-595-9511. We are open from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM PST, Mondays through Fridays.   • QuestionI’m trying to connect my camera to the vetch app and it’s asking for a security key that is 8-12 letter and have atleast one uppercase and numbers. Where do I find that?!

    • Answer Hi - We are sorry to hear that you are having some issues in linking the camera of the VTech RM5752 to your mobile device. Please take note that the security key of the VTech RM5752 is the QR code that is found on the parent unit. Kindly make sure that you have the correct mobile app which is the MyVTech Baby 1080p app. Once you have the correct mobile app, here's the procedure on how to link the camera to the app. Step 1: Press Menu on the parent unit. Step 2: Press ► to scroll to Settings Icon. Step 3: Press ▼ to scroll to Connect Mobile Phone then press Menu. Step 4. Press Menu again to select Yes then it will now show you the QR code. Step 5. On the MyVTech Baby 1080p app, select Add camera then click on Scan QR code. Step 6. Scan the QR code on the parent unit using your mobile device. Wait for the process finish.   • QuestionHow to connect the camera to my phone without the monitor?
