• faster in that you are working directly on the screen with a cintiq. as opposed to drawing on the tablet will looking at the computer screen with other wacom models. the eye to hand coordination is different.

• I use photoshop to edit photos sometimes and it's about the same as using a mouse. It doesn't make a big difference for me
