• You have to use the cable for power , video, computer connection. so only if you can find adapters to extend as far away as you wish to be

• Depends on how far away you go from your computer. I use mine in my lap frequently but since the display is tethered via wire to my laptop, I can't go far. You might either need some wireless adapters for this or, if you're willing to shell out the money, look into the tablet model which allows you to use it by itself (on the go) or connected to your computer.

• No. It has to be plugged into the computer in order for it to work. Maybe Wacom will one day make a wireless version of this tablet
