• The software included is mostly fully functional versions but they only last a year or two, so they're subscriptions, not full perpetual-licensed software.

• It's licensed -- you can use it as much as you want forever, but it's not the pro version. I downloaded the "Painter Essentials" software, and it does way more than I can figure out how to use, so I don't need to pay for the pro version.
