• A:Answer Hi Fruity, The flames do flicker and have a realistic look, but they don't make any sounds. It can heat up to about 400 sq. feet, and has two switches on the face of the unit that will allow you to control heat and flames separately.

• A:Answer Hi! Thank you for reaching out with your question. There is no maximum run time on the heater. It was designed with a maximum temperature of 89.6 degrees Fahrenheit. The fireplace insert has an automatic shutoff feature should it exceed that temperature. The temperature is non-adjustable. Thanks!
