“Are there pre-drilled holes in the back of the unit for cords? If so, where are they and how many are there?”

Hello Chris, There are cable cut-outs for cord management, one at the top of the 3 different sections. Please let us know if you have any other questions!

There is a half circle cut out in the back of the center console and the shelves are adjustable so you should be fine if the cords are long enough and you have a surge protected extension cord
