Hi Maria, It does not. All of our items ship ready to assemble with step by step instructions, and include all parts and hardware necessary for assembly. Most of our TV stands take about an hour to assemble on average. The fireplace is a simple plug in unit, with minimal installation required. Let us know if you have any other questions!
