• There are, in fact, 5 semi circular opening in the back panel. One for each section. Plenty of room for cables and connections.

• Hi JB, The back panel has 5 half-circle cut out shapes to allow for cord management. This TV stand requires full assembly, but all parts, hardware and assembly instructions are included.
