It is a corner stand. The back two corners are designed to sit flat against perpendiculars walls, meaning it can fit into a 90 degree corner. Some of the other finishes on the listing show a line drawings, or a blueprint of the dimensions and you can see a little better in those images how it would fit into a corner.
