The 48" of a 48" TV is the diagonal measurement of the TV. The width of a 48" TV would less. The top rectangular surface of the cabinet is 44" wide x 10" not including the trapezoid surface.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Depending on the base of your TV whether it will be able to work on this stand. If the base is not more than 40 to 42 inches it will work but the TV will extend over the sides.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Is this a serious question? Tvs are measured diagonally from corner to corner. Also, things don't have to be the exact same or smaller in order to be placed on top of this.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Because the stand holding the tv is like 40 inches wide and sits on the piece of furniture not the tv screen as you see on the picture. My tv is 49 inches and looks great on this stand. The stand is nice for the price. It's not hard wood but you would never know just looking at it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, this can hold a 48" TV.
