• Hi Rascal, Thanks for your questions. This unit has the entire back panel cut out underneath the top shelf, which can fit multiple consoles. For that reason there aren't any media cutouts on the lower shelves. Hope that helps!

• There is a tool called a drill, you can make holes with it.
