I have not yet installed mine yet and looking at it, I would say maybe. Concerns I would have that maybe a call or email to Blink might be able to answer is, if the motion sensor would detect the appropriate area and if water got to the back side would it cause issues( it seams pretty water proof ). The camera appears as though you could accurately aim it in that position. I am of course assuming you mean the back of the unit is attached to the under side of the soffit. Don’t know if this helps.
