Hi Jessman. The difference between the filters other than compatibility with refrigerator models are the NSF International Standards that each filter is tested and certified for that defines the reduction of substances for the standards.The LT1000P is system tested and certified by NSF International against NSF/ANSI Standard 42, Standard 53 and Standard 401 and the LT700P is system tested and certified by NSF International against NSF/ANSI Standard 42, Standard 53...^Ivan
