• The Sonic-Fusion does not contain a battery in the water flosser portion. To use the flossing portion it will need to be plugged into an active electrical outlet. However, it is global voltage and can be used with 220v.

• The toothbrush easily detaches from the base and will retain a charge for a few days and a nice plastic carrying case is included for travel. The flosser will not work unless plugged into a wall outlet. You can buy a generic voltage converter for $20-$50 from BB for that.

• There is a non-removable battery inside the toothbrush but is rechargeable. No 220v.
