Each Motherboard manufacturer uses their own specifications for the Standoff screw's pitch and TPI. You can use the 3M screw to connect the M.2 SSD with the motherboard. -Need Help? If you search the Questions with an appropriate input (such as "included," "screw," "M2," etc. you will see the simple answer is "No," but the screw should be on the motherboard. I would add that anyone who makes it a habit of opening a computer would do well to have a selection of screws (sold separately), in case they strip one or drop and lose it. Also, I have found that, in a pinch, other standard PC screws can be used in place of the required screw, at least for desktops.
