• Yes. Keep in mind that in the R7, if you want to replace the spinner hard drive with this, you will also have to remove the Optane memory module. This isn't a big deal, since this drive blows the doors off of the spinning drive + Optane combo. Also, if I recall correctly, when you remove the spinner and the Optane, you will have to go into the BIOS on the R7 and turn off RAID. I don't recall the exact process, but the information is out there. I'm pretty sure I found it in the Dell forums for the R7. Hope this helps.
