• Yes, it will work. The B550 chipset itself can handle PCIe 4.0 M.2 drives, but some processors will only support PCIe 3.0 speeds. The board itself can handle the faster drives.

• Buy from another company that is not adata, xpg, or western digital, they have all recently been caught swapping out hardware for worse lookalikes and selling tons of them. I would recommend teamgroup mp33 for great budget nvme, or for faster ones look for Seagate, sk hynix
