When installed to your PS5, it will become the default location for any new PS5 games you install. PS4 games will continue to go on your external hard drive unless you manually set them to install to this SSD. Rest assured that you will be able to store and play your PS5 games from this drive, as I just put Spider-man 2 on it myself. Hope that helps.
