Hi, please note that the WD BLACK SN850X Internal SSD comes with a PCIe Gen 4 x4 NVMe M.2 2280 form factor. The drive is physically designed to be installed in an M.2 connector and can only be installed the way the connector is installed on the host device. It has a marking cut into it so that the drive cannot be installed incorrectly.
