• These are 2.5 inch laptop drives. Desktop drives are generally larger. Check the physical size of the drive you currently have and replace it with the same size

• if you have a 512GB already, is the 512GB drive a 2.5" laptop style or an M.2 NvMe slot style ?? You should be able to google that.
