No. your computer need 2.5" form factor hard drive.

Should be plug and play. I think the drives are formatted to windows or Mac, however

None - will replace your factory hard drive - make sure of IDE or SATA connections. If replaceing a 3-1/2" drive might need an adapter "tray" (around $7.50. I made my own "adapter" by just using a couple of "zip" ties to mount it.

Yes it would. This just plugs directly into a USB 2.0 or USB 3.0 Type A port.
