To the best of my knowledge that series uses emmc. So no it shall not fit.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi, You didn't give the specific model of your Stream, and I can't claim to be familiar with all the Steam products. That being said, I'm pretty sure the Steams aren't upgradeable and if they were, would probably need a drive conforming to one of the mSATA form factors. The drive being discussed is a standard 2.5" drive that will fit in most *traditional* laptops. I don't work for bestbuy, but I'm fairly sure they will install an internal drive for you and transfer your existing OS to the new drive. As a note, you can download the Western Digital drive transfer software from their site and do it yourself. You will need a SATA data cable, possibly a SATA power-Y adapter if your computer doesn't have a free SATA power connector and a SATA data port to plug the drive into. If your motherboard doesn't have an open SATA data port, you can normally use the CD-ROM SATA data connection. All of this is mute if you are asking for the Stream as I said, I don't believe they are upgradeable, except through the SD memory slot. Good Luck, Jeff
