“Picture shows 3d nand. When I purchased and opened at home, no 3d nand label. Asked WD support rep if it was 3d nand and they said no. Is this actually the 3d nand version?”

WD says: No, no mention of "3D" or "3D NAND" http://products.wdc.com/library/SpecSheet/ENG/2879-800079.pdf

I purchased one of these drives on May 13, 2020, and the label says "WD BLUE 3D NAND SSD" above serial number.

No, I returned mine. The Western Digital 3D nand version is the same as the SanDisk 3D nand. I got duped as well... I bought the SanDisk 1tb 3D Nand SSD for 200. The Western Digital version is 50 more, but it's an identical spec drive. Hope this helps man. 3d nand is beast!
