• I believe the 5yr WD warranty is the factory warranty. Coverage is limited. The 2 or 3 year offered (i forget which they offer) is the bedt buy warranty. If it breaks, bring it in and swap it out as long as it doesn't look like you beat it up. I personally always prefer Best Buy's hassle free warranties. Hope that helps.
