• SSD of this size storage likely far more expensive. Chips are in short supply perhaps reason for increase?

• Probably because of that stupid cryptocurrency, chia. That, and the prices are usually higher than 179 anyways. 179 is the sale price when it drops that low. I havent seen it hit that low for some time.
