• More than likely not as like with the PS4 Sony states that max recognizable external HDD is 8tb in specs

• No it can not only up to 8TB Is allowed on the playstation 4 and 5 I try it and it didn't work so I have to return the item.

• I haven't tried it, but given the limits of the PS4 & 5, it might work if you partitioned the drive into two 8GB partitions and 1 2GB partition (or whatever is left, given the shrinkage that results in practice from formatting the drive).
