Hello Wildbill, Please allow me to inform you that daisy chaining require thuderbolt3 Port on the drive and WD Easystore desktop is a plug n play drive. It does not support daisy chaining. Need Help? Please see our "'Contact Us" page for information.

No, but they do work very well with a good quality powered USB hub.
