Easy to set up for iMac time machine? null

After some initial confusion because the unit offered several options, I was able to figure out that going into preferences and hitting time machine made for a flawless connection. Yes, it's easy even for non-computer savvy people.

Absolutely. Format the drive in Disk Utility using MAC OS (Journaled) and Time Machine will see it just fine.
