There are wireless wi-fi hard drives out there that would be the BEST way for you if you want to transfer files from your phone directly to a hard drive. But yes for this portable hard drive, there is a way, but it will take a USB adapter that would connect to your phone to be able to read the portable hard drive and you would have to download a file reading app in collaboration with the adapter. Otherwise, the efficient way is to transfer files off your phone to a PC or laptop and then transfer those files to the portable hard drive.
