Hello Oldschool1,Please be informed that the WD Easystore Drive is a plug 'n' play device tested and designed for Windows and Mac computers. You have not specified either what operating system that you are running nor what type of connection ports are available to you. But assuming that your HP computer is running Windows 10 with a recent BIOS and has USB 3 ports available then yes it should work fine!
