Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.If the NAS doesn't die and you are the only user. When you need it, probably it would be fine. But what if multiple users in your house using it & the NAS hard drive dies, how can you recover the data ? Typical NAS has a RAID setup for recovery if one disk is bad. Attaching an external HD as NAS is an easy & low-cost solution, but not a reliable solution.
