This drive will work with any PC that has a USB connector. The Easystore is a small form factor drive that is powered from the USB connection. The My Book is a larger form factor drive that has an external power connector. So which one you might want depends on how you are going to use the drive and the availability of an external power plug.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.the drive uses a usb3 connector, so should work with pretty much any computer these days.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes both products will work with your desktop computer. They are both really great products. Which one is better depends on your needs. What are you wanting to store on the device? How many GB or TB do you need? Do you want something easily portable ? My recommendations. If your looking to back up your entire system and/or Password protect your files. I would recommend the WD My Book. If your looking to for something to save movies, pictures, documents ect.. I would recommend the WD easy store. Both devices offer the exact same thing as far as Speed,System backup, software to do so, Password protection and Copying or storing files. Really it depends on your needs and portability, as the WD My Book ("depending on size" ) not only has to connect to your PC but requires to be plugged to a wall outlet. Where the East Store only needs the computers USB to operate. Personally If I needed a constant back up of files or something just for pictures/movies/documents I would go with Easy store. For my entire system backup and if I had the space for it I would go with The My book. In closing you can do both on each device. Ones more tailored to being easy and quick where as the other is more tailored to permanent real estate with entire backup in mind.
I would recommend:
