“Does this work on an iPad Pro 2018 12.9 it’s not reading it”

• I have an older IPad and the USB port is used for charging and connecting to the laptop. This drive needs power from the USB port to spin up and work. My manual says the port is used for charging and file transfers to the laptop and back but You can get it to work. You need two adapters that you can get from Bestbuy and the Ipad charger plugged in the wall or on an extension cord like I did. Just need the program installed from the app store to get it to work without needing the laptop. • Probably not without some type of other interface. It uses a USB 3 connection. It is designed for PC or Mac computers.
