“Can I connect this through a USB 3.0 port on my pc and play games off of it? My internal HDD is nearly out of space so was thinking of using this for games as well.”

• You can definitely install and play games off of it. However, its a slightly slower drive. So for less demanding games yes. For high demanding games, like Ark Survival Evolved, i'd recommend internal drives, preferably an SSD. Otherwise if you don't mind slower load times go ahead.

• You can, however the read/write speed over USB can be lower than SATA so you may experience slower loading times depending on your hardware's USB controller.
