I have a few Western Digital external hard drives (My Book and Easyshare 3.5 inch models that use its own power supply). The power supplies for them works with 100-240v. I have the U.S. version. No voltage converter is needed. Just use an adapter for the wall socket if needed.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The power adapter that comes with this harddrive is rated 120/240V - 50/60Hz. You will need a plug adapter, but you will not need a voltage converter. Most electronics that come with a power adapter are rated this way. If you aren't sure about a device, look at the ratings on it's power adapter.
