With what you have said, I can think of three possible problems. 1.(least likely) A problem with the USB port. If you haven't tried already, try moving the USB connection to a different port. 2. A failure with external drive enclosure. If you can't figure out if it is the drive or the enclosure I would take the enclosure apart and replace it or if you have the capability try putting the drive in a computer and see if works. 3. The hard drive is bad. Naturally if that is the case there isn't anything you can do. (Small possibility. The easystore enclosure is large enough there could be more that 1 hard drive in it so before I gave up I would take the enclosure apart and check. If there is more than one you might be able get the pictures off of 1 of them.
